Introduction: Al-Hamd Welfare Trust has undertaken a significant initiative to provide sustainable access to clean drinking water in Tharparkar, a region with water scarcity and desertification in Pakistan. The project involves the installation of solar-powered water pumping systems across various villages and areas in Tharparkar.
Impact: To date, Al-Hamd Welfare Trust has successfully completed over 400 solar water projects in Tharparkar, with numerous others currently underway on need and donation basis.
